Unity Movement exists to build stronger communities by connecting individuals through mentorship, conflict resolution, and cultural programs. We believe that every person has the power to create positive change, and through unity, we can transform neighborhoods one relationship at a time.
The Origin of Unity
Unity Movement was founded by Goalden Chyld, who saw the need for authentic community connection in neighborhoods across the region. Starting with small gatherings and conversations, the movement grew organically as people recognized the power of coming together despite differences.
What began as informal mentorship and conflict resolution has evolved into comprehensive programming that addresses real community needs. From youth development to cultural celebrations, every program is designed by and for the communities we serve.
Today, Unity Movement continues to grow, staying true to its grassroots origins while expanding its reach to touch more lives and create lasting positive change.
